Bengal Bypolls 2022: Bypolls are being held on Tuesday for the Asansol Lok Sabha and Ballygunge assembly seats in West Bengal. The results of the by-polls will be out on April 16. Meanwhile, there were reports of violence during the ongoing by-elections to the Asansol Lok Sabha seat. BJP candidate from Asansol Lok Sabha seat Agnimitra Paul's car was pelted with stones in 12 Bani area. In this, the glass of his car was broken.

Bengal Bypolls 2022: पश्चिम बंगाल की आसनसोल लोकसभा और बालीगंज विधानसभा सीट पर मंगलवार को उप चुनाव हो रहे हैं. इसके साथ ही बिहार के बोचहां विधानसभा और महाराष्ट्र के कोल्हापुर नॉर्थ विधानसभा सीट पर भी वोटिंग डाले रहे हैं. उपचुनाव के नतीजे 16 अप्रैल को निकलेंगे. इसी बीच आसनसोल लोकसभा सीट पर जारी उपचुनाव के दौरान हिंसा की खबरें आईं. आसनसोल लोकसभा सीट से बीजेपी उम्मीदवार अग्निमित्र पॉल की गाड़ी पर 12 बनी इलाके में पथराव किया गया. इसमें उनकी गाड़ी के शीशे टूट गए.
