Why Russia forced to send untrained soldiers to Ukraine?

Perhaps Russia wanted to overthrow Zelensky by capturing Kyiv, but the opposite happened. The Russian army had to withdraw from cities like Bucha, Iripan and went to the Belarusian border. Did Russia do this because it was its strategy or according to the reports of Western countries, the soldiers of Russia started getting discouraged.
