The Russian army has claimed great success in Mariupol. Ukraine's 36th Marine Brigade has surrendered to Russia. More than a thousand Ukrainian soldiers have laid down their weapons. These include 162 Ukrainian officials. Russia claims that Russia has achieved great success in the siege of Mariupol by the Russian army with the rebels of Donetsk.
