श्रीलंका में आज इसी तरह की चाहतों के साथ पूरे का पूरा देश इंकलाबी हो गया है। क्या बच्चे, क्या जवान क्या महिलाएं, क्या बुज़ुर्ग, कौन अमीर और कैसा गरीब आज सबकी एक ज़ुबां है। सब हाथों में बैनर-पोस्टर थामे हुए हैं, सब सड़कों पर उतर आए हैं। पिछले कई दिनों से नारे लगा-लगा कर अब इनका गला भी रूंध चुका है लेकिन फिर, दिल की ज्वाला ऐसी है कि आंदोलित मन को शांत होने ही नहीं देती। इस बीच विपक्ष ने घोषणा कर दी है, कि वो सरकार के खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव लाने जा रही है।
