Treasurer set to hand down pre-election budget tonight

A multi billion dollar cost of living package will form the centrepiece of Treasurer Josh Frydenberg's fourth budget, with the government trying to woo voters ahead of the expected may election. A temporary cut to the fuel excise is expected and one-off cash payments to pensioners.
