Congress MPs From Kerala Protest K-Rail Project, Accuse Delhi Police Of Resorting To Physical Violence

On March 24, United Democratic Front (UDF) MPs from Kerala alleged that they were attacked and manhandled by the Delhi police during their protest in the national capital. The MPs were protesting in Delhi against the proposed semi-high-speed K-Rail-SilverLine Project in the state. Congress member K Suresh, raised the issue in Lok Sabha soon after the Question Hour. The SilverLine project of the CPI(M)-led government in Kerala has been facing protests over the survey and marking of the corridor boundary, reported PTI. On March 24, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Watch the video to know what is the K-Rail SilverLine project.
