Boeing 737-800 Jets Under Review As China Eastern Grounds Its Aircrafts, Dgca Says 'Enhanced Surveillance' Of Such Fleets With Airlines In India

On March 21, a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 crashed in mountains in southern China on a domestic flight, reported Reuters. There were 132 people on board and reports suggest that there were no survivors. As reported by Bloomberg, parts of the wreckage have been found. After the horrific tragedy, China Eastern Airlines grounded all of its Boeing 737-800 flights. Chinese President Xi Jinping was ‘shocked’ to know about the incident.
