Bhagwant Mann oath: Bhagwant Bhagwant Mann took oath as a Chief Minister of Punjab on Wednesday. At the swearing-in ceremony at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of Bhagat Singh, the Aam Aadmi Party supporters turned up in basanti turbans and dupattas, the colour associated with the freedom fighter. On the other hand a day after Sonia Gandhi had asked all presidents of Pradesh Congress Committees of five states where assembly elections were held recently, Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu resigns as Punjab Congress chief today.

पंजाब में आज से आम आदमी की सरकार बन गई। आम आदमी पार्टी (aam aadmi party) के नेता भगवंत मान (Bhagwant Mann oath) ने पंजाब के सीएम पद की शपथ ली। पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव ( Punjab election 2022 ) में आम आदमी पार्टी को प्रचंड जीत मिली है। भगवंत मान ने शहीद भगत सिंह के गांव खटकर कलां (Bhagat Singh village Khatkar Kalan) में सीएम पद की शपथ ली । उधर पंजाब कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष पद से नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ( Navjot Singh Sidhu resigns) ने इस्तीफा दे दिया। नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को पत्र लिख इस्तीफा सौंपा है। पांच राज्यों के विधानसभा चुनाव में मिली करारी हार के बाद कल ही सोनिया गांधी ने सभी चुनावी राज्यों के कांग्रेस प्रमुखों से इस्तीफा मांगा था।
