10 मार्च को चुनावी परिणाम आने से पहले जौनपुर की मल्हनी सीट से चुनाव लड़ रहे धनंजय सिंह के समर्थक और समाजवादी पार्टी के समर्थक आपस में भिड़ गए. इस दौरान जमकर मारपीट हुई. बाद में फायरिंग भी हुई.
