Not an edit. This song is on the album "Paul Buff presents Highlights from the PAL and Original Sound Studio archives" vol. 6. It is stereo there. (Only one photo of that album is in the video, at 00:32.) The song is also on "The Early Works of Frank Zappa (1962 1964) Cucamonga Years", but there it is mono.
Am I the first with this one in stereo on YouTube? Then Hurray for May!

On the albums it says: "Grunion Run (1963) - The Hollywood Persuaders", but it definitely is a Zappa guitar recording.

"The Hollywood Persuaders" was a fictional group. Frank Zappa played guitars, bass and drums while Paul Buff played saxes, engineered and produced. This was recorded in June 1963 (thanks Andy Nicolet!).
