On February 24 morning, Vladimir Putin, Russian President, announced a military operation in Ukraine to defend separatists in the east of the nation, reported AFP. On February 23, Ukraine's parliament imposed a national state of emergency.  As per a CNN report, US has issued a warning to Ukraine that the latest intelligence points to Russia imminently launching a full-scale invasion. Reportedly, a 2 km long queue of trucks in the Rostov region of Russia is heading towards Donetsk. The Pentagon warned that it believes Russian troops are moving into the region, reported CNN.
