I Was 235lb And Embarrassed To Exercise - Now Look At Me | BRAND NEW ME
  • 2 years ago
THE pandemic helped one individual lose weight and discover a love of fitness so strong she went from being too embarrassed to go in the gym to training her own clients. When she moved schools, Danielle went from 155 to 235lbs in one year. Her mental health took a toll and Danielle would binge eat as a source of comfort. Danielle’s love of junk food and snacking saw her weight accelerate and despite numerous attempts to lose the extra pounds she saw little change. Danielle, from Toronto, Canada, started going to the gym at 2am so that no one else would see her but her unhealthy eating patterns persisted. Over the next five years, Danielle dropped 40lbs but the biggest change came in 2020. After losing her job, instead of going back to old habits, Danielle decided this was the year to finally reach her goal of losing 100lbs in total. Even the pandemic couldn’t stop her - in fact it turbocharged her fitness regime with Danielle pacing her apartment balcony and nearby park, plus simple home workouts. Far more significantly Danielle discovered a love of fitness. Now she is happy to visit the gym in daylight hours rather than the middle of the night and even trains others. .
