Dr. Egon's daughter, Callie, is shown, and she moves to his house due to a financial crisis. There, her children notice that everything is strange, and they also discover a ghost capturing machine. Phoebe, her daughter, learns a lot about the ghost capturing machine, and Phoebe learns that her grandfather was a ghostbuster. She obtains information from her teacher, who informs her that there is a ghostbuster team and that this machine belongs to them. Phebe wants to learn more about her grandfather and wonders why she didn't tell the truth about him. Later, Phoebe and Trevor, along with their friends, travel to the city to capture the ghost that was mistakenly released by Phoebe.

They attack Gozer as a group and are successful. As a result, Gozer and the other ghosts were trapped in the machine because Trevor activated it again.
