This is the moment rescuers saved a ferocious leopard trapped in a 50ft well.
The animal was trapped in the Indian state of Maharashtra after accidentally falling into the chamber.
Rescuers can be seen carefully lowering a trap cage down the well beside the young animal.
One man used a bamboo stick to guide her into the cage.
"If the leopard had been not spotted on time she would have died because of hunger as it was hard for her to climb the rocky well with a depth more than 50ft," said a wildlife expert, Manish Kumar.
After being monitored and fed meat the leopard was later released into the wild.
