Thai rescuers save kitten trapped in drain pipe after falling inside during storm

A kitten was rescued after falling into a water pipe during a storm.
The moggy was heard crying from inside the drain of a house in Rayong, eastern Thailand, during heavy rain.
The owner checked the next morning when there was still the sound of the kitten and he called for help.
Footage shows the rescuers using a ladder to reach the roof and locate how far the kitten had fallen into the pipe.
The poor kitten was finally found after an hour of searching and was taken using a thin stick with a loop tied at the end to reach inside the pipe where the kitten struggled to move.
The kitten is now under the care of the house owner who helped to rescue the animal.
