Karnataka HC to resume hijab row hearing; Lalu Yadav's conviction in 5th fodder scam; more

The interim order issued by the Karnataka High Court in the hijab row does not allow the wearing of any religious attire in educational institutions. As there is no conclusive order as of yet, the court will resume hearing on Monday. Meanwhile, the special CBI court will announce the quantum of sentence for the convicts, including RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, in the Rs 139.5 crore Doranda treasury embezzlement case on Monday. Lalu was declared guilty in the fifth and final fodder scam on February 15.
