Karnataka: Muslim Girl Students Count Their Losses in Fight for Hijab

Muslim women students tell The Quint, what it means to fight to for hijab and what it means to be letdown by the college authorities, state government, and courts. In Karnataka, students are not being allowed to wear hijab in classrooms, after the state government issued an order on 5 February. The Karnataka High Court has upheld ban on religious clothing in colleges. On 15 February colleges reopen.
