The Mega Auction of IPL 2022 was held on 12th and 13th February in Bangalore, where many players were showered with money, while the legendary players did not get the support of any franchise, including the name of veteran batsman Suresh Raina. Suresh Raina, popularly known as Mr IPL, was not included by any franchise in Chennai this year, which was a very shocking decision. Chennai fans hoped that CSK would leave no stone unturned to take Raina back to their team in the auction.

आईपीएल 2022 का मेगा ऑक्शन 12 और 13 फरवरी को बेंगलुरु में आयोजित किया गया जहा कई खिलाड़ियों पर धनवर्षा हुई तो वहीं दिग्गज खिलाड़ियों को किसी भी फ्रेंचाइज का साथ नहीं मिला जिसमे दिग्गज बल्लेबाज सुरेश रैना का भी नाम शामिल है। मिस्टर आईपीएल के नाम से मशहूर सुरेश रैना को इस साल चेन्नई तो क्या किसी भी फ्रेंचाइज ने अपनी टीम में शामिल नहीं किया जो की एक बहुत चौकाने वाला फैसला था। चेन्नई फैंस को यह उम्मीद थी की CSK ऑक्शन में रैना को अपनी टीम वापस लेने में कोई कमी नहीं छोड़ेगी। लेकिन हुआ इसके उलट क्युकी चेन्नई के मैनेजमेंट ने रैना के दूसरे दौर में भी बोली लगानी ज़रूरी समझी ही नहीं।
