Ukraine: UK Says Russia's Act Of Invasion Imminent, Asks Its Citizens To Leave Immediately

Liz Truss, Britain’s Foreign Secretary, said Russian invasion of Ukraine could be imminent. On February 14, Liz Truss tweeted, “Latest information suggests Russia could invade at any moment and we urge the Kremlin to deescalate.” Boris Johnson, UK Prime Minister said, “We're urging everybody to engage in dialogue and for the Russian government to avoid what would be a disastrous mistake for Russia.” Reportedly, over 1,00,000 troops have gathered near the border of Ukraine. UK’s Defence Secretary and Chief of the Defence Staff met their Russian counterparts for talks to discuss the situation. US President Joe Biden has warned Americans to leave the country immediately. The British foreign office also said that all UK nationals should leave. Watch the video to know more.
