PICKids: Eight-week interval for second dose to ensure lower incidences of side-effects

The decision to give children aged between five and 11 their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine after an eight-week interval compared to a three-week period in some countries was to ensure there were lower incidences of side-effects, said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin after launching the ministry’s Wellness Hub in Port Dickson on Saturday.
