Spencer Left Out of Nominations from BAFTA — the Film Academy Headed by Prince William

Princess Diana biopic Spencer was shut out of the 2022 BAFTA nominations on Thursday. Kristen Stewart earned praise from critics for her portrayal of Diana in the film, which is set over the course of a weekend in December 1991 when Diana joined the royal family for Christmas and decided to leave her fractured marriage to Prince Charles. However, the movie was snubbed completely when the British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced the nominations for the 2022 awards show on Thursday morning.
