The Modi government has gone against the promise by not withdrawing the cases against them during the farmers' movement.In protest against all this, the United Kisan Morcha will celebrate Vadakhilafi Day at the center of districts and tehsils across the country on January 31. If the government does not take any action regarding their pending demands till January 31, then Mission UP will start from February 1.

लंबे समय तक चला किसानों का आंदोलन भले ही चाहे एक बार खत्म हो गया हो.लेकिन अभी भी कई मुद्दों को लेकर किसानों, किसान संगठनों और किसान नेताओं में गुस्सा है. किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने सिंघु बॉर्डर पर मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि किसान यूपी के लखीमपुर खीरी में हुई घटना को भूले नहीं है.केंद्र सरकार ने आज तक अपने वादों को पूरा नहीं किया.सरकार ने न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य पर किसानों की मांगे आज तक नहीं मानी हैं. किसान आंदोलन के दौरान उन पर लगे मुकदमों को वापस नहीं लेकर मोदी सरकार ने वादा खिलाफ की है.इन सबके विरोध में संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा 31 जनवरी को देश भर के जिले और तहसीलों के केंद्र पर वादाखिलाफी दिवस मनाएगा.31 जनवरी तक यदि उनकी लंबित मांगों को लेकर सरकार कोई कदम नहीं उठाती है तो उसके बाद 1 फरवरी से मिशन यूपी की शुरुआत होगी.
