Amid spike in Covid-19, Singapore expects Omicron wave to outpace Delta coronavirus variant
  • 2 years ago
Singapore has seen a spike in Covid-19 infections since late December, with 845 cases reported on January 9, 2022. Government officials say they expect the Omicron variant of the coronavirus to outpace the Delta strain, and the city state will soon start requiring residents to get boosters to be considered fully-vaccinated. Starting February 14, only people with boosters will be allowed access to venues such as shopping centres and restaurants.
