India reported over 27,000 Covid-19 cases on Sunday. Metro cities witnessed a rapid increase in Omicron cases. India crossed the grim mark of 1,500 Omicron cases on Sunday with Maharashtra topping the chart.
Even though active cases are up three times in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said there was no need to panic as most infections are mild.
