Negros Occidental couple turn wedding feast into aid for ‘Odette’ survivors

Before Typhoon Odette hit their home in Sipalay, Negros Occidental, Buenjurin and Peter Jacusalem were looking forward to their December 18 beach wedding. Instead of pushing through with that, the breakfast meant for their entourage was quickly distributed among neighbors. The pig for the lechon was butchered and grilled and given away.
