Two terrorists were killed in an encounter on Saturday in Chaugam area of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said while giving information that "two terrorists were killed in the encounter". Incriminating material including arms and ammunition were recovered from them. Based on specific inputs, a joint team of police and security forces cordoned off the area where terrorists were present and launched a search operation.

Jammu Kashmir के Shopian जिले के Chaugam इलाके में शनिवार को हुई मुठभेड़ में दो आतंकी ढेर हो गए, पुलिस अधिकारियों ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि मुठभेड़ में ‘दो आतंकवादी मारे गए। उनके पास से हथियार और गोला-बारूद सहित आपत्तिजनक सामग्री बरामद की गई।’ पुलिस और सुरक्षा बलों की एक संयुक्त टीम ने विशेष जानकारी के आधार पर आतंकवादियों की मौजूदगी वाले इलाके को घेरकर तलाशी अभियान शुरू किया।
