This is the moment a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile launcher takes part in a training exercise and destroys drone targets.
The training exercise took place at the Ashuluk training ground in Astrakhan Oblast and the footage has been shared on social media by the Russian Ministry of Defence on 19th December.
The MoD said: “Crews of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon system destroyed a mock enemy’s drones during an exercise at Ashuluk training ground. Anti-aircraft gunners are trained to detect small air targets and destroy them with anti-aircraft guided missiles.”
