Govt calls meeting with Opposition parties to resolve Rajya Sabha stalemate
  • 2 years ago
Floor leaders of parties whose Rajya Sabha members are among the 12 suspended for the entire winter session of Parliament have been asked to attend a meeting with Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi on Monday morning to discuss a way out of the parliamentary logjam. However, the Opposition claimed that their protest would continue until the suspension of the 12 MPs is revoked. They are unlikely to attend the meeting with the government on Monday unless all opposition parties are called.
