On December 16, the United Kingdom recorded its highest daily Covid-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic. 88,376 confirmed cases were reported on December 16 in the UK. On December 15, 78,610 Covid-19 cases were reported. More than 11 million people have now tested positive for Covid-19 in the UK.
