This footage shows Russian soldiers engaging in mountain rescue and improvisation training in snow and cold temperatures. The footage was shared online by the Russian Ministry of Defence, who said: "Servicemen of the mining units of the Central Military District have started mountain training classes. They hone their skills on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the foothills of the Western Sayan at an altitude of 1350 meters above sea level. In conditions of low temperatures, servicemen will have to undergo a survival course, which includes standards for high-altitude and alpine skiing training. Specialists will study ways to carry out evacuation and rescue operations using improvised means and mountain equipment, and will also learn how to overcome rivers and gorges. Servicemen will master the skills of finding a conditional enemy, silent movement and ways to "set up" a camp in the highlands."
