This is the moment Russian paratroopers board a ‘Terminator’ helicopter and carry out parachute jumps over snowy terrain.
The footage was shared on social media by the Russian Ministry of Defence on 9th December with the message: “In Khabarovsk Krai, airborne training exercises were held with intelligence units of the Eastern Military District.
“The servicemen carried out a successful landing with D-10 parachute systems with weapons from a height of over 600 metres from Mi-8 AMTSH ‘Terminator’ helicopters.
“Around 40 paratroopers carried out their first parachute jump from a height of over 800 metres.
In total, over 200 paratroopers were involved in the event as part of the winter training period that began on December 1.
