West Bengal: A mosque in Jalpaiguri does not use loudspeakers during azan to ensure that children's education is not hampered. School teacher Indranil Saha said, “The local people have cooperated a lot. Any kind of hindrance in studies is not right, it also distracts the attention of the children.”

मस्जिदों ने अज़ान के वक्त इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले लाउडस्पीकर (loudspeakers) को लेकर अकसर बवाल होते रहता है। देश में ही कई बार इसको लेकर विवाद हुआ है और इसे बंद करने की मांग भी उठी है। इस बीच पश्चिम बंगाल (West Bengal) के जलपाईगुड़ी (Jalpaiguri) में मस्जिद (mosque) ने मिसाल पेश की है। मस्जिद में नमाज के लिए लाउडस्पीकर का इस्तेमाल नहीं हो रहा है. ऐसा इसलिए ताकि बच्चों की पढ़ाई (children's education) में बाधा न पहुंचे ।
