The government will soon mandate weekly Covid-19 screening to be conducted at primary and elementary schools, where students are not yet eligible to be vaccinated against the disease.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said this is one of the items in the National Covid-19 Testing Strategy that will be launched next Monday and is aimed at ensuring there would be no Covid-19 clusters at schools.
