Tonbridge and Malling MP receives apology over M26 development plans

Tonbridge and Malling MP Tom Tugendhat's received an apology from ministers after he was kept in the dark about proposals to turn the M26 into a lorry park.

He met with Transport Secretary Chris Grayling who apologised for not consulting him on the proposal, after Mr Tugendhat discovered the plan when the M26 was unexpectedly closed for surveying work by Highways England.
