Proposals to burn rubbish in Allington has come under fire from residents

Campaigners say plans to expand a waste facility in Maidstone will ruin the area.

The proposals include the installation of a new incinerator, to burn enough waste to power 50,000 extra homes and a new household waste facility.

However, nearby residents claim they are already experiencing breathing problems since moving to the area and say it will create more noise.
