University of Kent reports largest record of positive coronavirus tests

The University of Kent has recorded its biggest-ever coronavirus outbreak on campus, after more than 60 students tested positive in just one week.

New figures show show 61 students living on-campus were diagnosed with the virus in the past week, while there were nine more residing off-campus found with the disease.

The data also shows six members of staff had contracted the illness since June 21.
