Plans revealed for Maidstone cycling scheme

Plans have been unveiled to introduce a cycling hire scheme in Maidstone, but some fear the road network is nowhere near good enough.

At a council meeting earlier this month, councillors put forward the introduction of setting up a greener mode of transport to help cut traffic levels.

Although some say it's a good idea on paper, the bikes would just cause chaos with other motorists.
