We’ve said this before and we’ll say it again, politics is a favorite Pinoy pastime, next to basketball, boxing, and beauty pageants.
But, in beauty pageants, if the title holder can’t do the job, the first runner up gets it.
In professional boxing, you’re given eight seconds to get back on your feet or you’re out.
And in basketball, the rules on substitution and overtime can’t be bent or broken.
