Video has been shared of mesmerising footage of the Northern Lights as they appeared over northern Scotland on Wednesday night. A time lapse of the amazing natural light show was captured in North Uist, Scotland. Alasdair O'Dell, a PhD student at the Scottish Association for Marine Science, also captured some dramatic footage of the dancing lights in Connel, Scotland.
