Amidst the rising prices of petrol and diesel, the Modi government at the Center has given great relief to the general public on Diwali. The central government has cut the excise duty on petrol by Rs 5 and on diesel by Rs 10. After this, 9 BJP-ruled states have also announced reduction in tax on petrol and diesel. This includes Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Karnataka, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

पेट्रोल डीजल (Petrol Diesel Price) की बढ़ती कीमतों के बीच केंद्र की मोदी सरकार (Modi govt) ने आम जनता को दिवाली पर बड़ी राहत दी है. केंद्र सरकार ने पेट्रोल पर 5 रुपये और डीजल पर 10 रुपये एक्साइड ड्यूटी में कटौती की है. इसके बाद बीजेपी शासित 9 राज्यों ने भी पेट्रोल डीजल पर लगने वाले टैक्स में कटौती का ऐलान किया है.इसमें असम, त्रिपुरा, मणिपुर, कर्नाटक, गोवा, उत्तर प्रदेश, गुजरात, हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड शामिल है
