Amidst the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, the Modi government has given a big relief to the common people on the occasion of Diwali. The central government has reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel. Excise duty has been cut by Rs 5 on petrol and Rs 10 on diesel. After the central government, the state governments have also started cutting VAT. The governments of Bihar, Gujarat, Assam, Tripura, Manipur and Karnataka have announced relief along with the electoral states of Uttar Pradesh and Goa.

पेट्रोल-डीजल (Petrol diesel Price) की कीमतों में लगातार हो रही बढ़ोतरी के बीच मोदी सरकार (Modi Govt) ने दिवाली (Diwali 2021) के मौके पर आम लोगों को बड़ी राहत दी है. केंद्र सरकार (Modi Govt) ने पेट्रोल डीजल पर एक्साइज ड्यूटी को कम कर दिया है. पेट्रोल पर 5 और डीजल पर 10 रुपये एक्साइज ड्यूटी में कटौती की गई है. केंद्र सरकार के बाद राज्य सरकारें (State Govt) भी वैट में कटौती करने लगी हैं. चुनावी राज्य उत्तर प्रदेश और गोवा के साथ ही बिहार, गुजरात, असम, त्रिपुरा, मणिपुर और कर्नाटक की सरकार ने राहत का ऐलान किया है.
