Tripura Violence: HC seeks report on reports of violence, vandalism from minorities. The High Court has sought a report from the government after reports of targeting of minorities and damage to their properties in the northeastern state of Tripura. Taking cognizance of the matter, the High Court directed the Tripura government to explain the incidents of violence against minorities in the state and action against communal posts on social media, which were vehemently refuted by the authorities.

पूर्वोत्‍तर भारत के त्रिपुरा (Tripura) राज्य में अल्पसंख्यकों को निशाना बनाए जाने और उनकी संपत्तियों को नुकसान पहुंचाने की खबरों के बाद हाईकोर्ट ने सरकार से रिपोर्ट मांगी है. मामले का संज्ञान लेते हुए हाईकोर्ट (Tripura HC) ने त्रिपुरा सरकार को राज्‍य में अल्पसंख्यकों के खिलाफ हिंसा की घटनाओं और सोशल मीडिया पर की गई सांप्रदायिक पोस्ट के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की व्याख्या करने का निर्देश दिया, जिन्हें कि अधिकारियों ने सिरे से खारिज किया था.
