In a bizarre incident, authorities of Salai Banwa Primary School in Kota village diluted 1 litre of milk with a bucket of water to serve kids for the mid-day meal. The diluted milk was distributed among at least 81 students. Assistant Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Gorakhnath Patel said, ìI am investigating the matter and action will be taken against the culprits.î He also said, ìI am being told milk was unavailable, so they were directed by authority to mix water in it, in a balanced quantity. I'm also being told that teachers had gone to get more milk but meanwhile pictures were clicked and distributed them.
