The seven accused in the Bulandshahr violence case were welcomed with garlands after they were released on bail on August 24. They were received amid the slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram', 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Vande Mataram. A party was thrown to celebrate their homecoming.
