Facebook Ad Revenue Suffers

Facebook is due to release its quarterly report on Monday, and it expects to lose quite a bit of ad revenue due to Apple’s ($AAPL@US) privacy changes. While Snap missed its revenue targets last week, Facebook seems to be suffering the most because of Apple’s updated privacy protocols. Apple has gone to great lengths to advertise these changes, and those changes have impacted how social media platforms track ad performance. Facebook stock fell a little more than 5% in early trading. Meanwhile, Snap stock is still tumbling, down over 26% prior to market open.
