How fall storms affect ocean dead zones in the Pacific Northwest

"Dead zones" are areas on the ocean floor where oxygen levels are low or non-existent. Experts say as winds change with fall storms, they reinvigorate the bottom layer on the ocean floor, adding more oxygen to the water.
