Global Food Security Index 2021: India is more backward than Pakistan and Sri Lanka. India has ranked 71st among 113 countries in the Global Food Security Index-2021. India ranks best in South Asia in terms of total points, but lags behind its neighbors Pakistan and Sri Lanka in terms of food affordability. Pakistan topped the food affordability category with 52.6 points, India scored better than 50.2 points.

भारत (India) ने ग्लोबल फूड सिक्योरिटी इंडेक्स-2021 (Global Food Security Index 2021) में 113 देशों के बीच 71वां स्थान हासिल किया है. भारत कुल अंकों के लिहाज से दक्षिण एशिया में सबसे अच्छे स्थान पर रहा, लेकिन खाद्य सामर्थ्य (Food Affordability) के मामले में अपने पड़ोसी देशों पाकिस्तान और श्रीलंका से पीछे है. खाद्य सामर्थ्य की श्रेणी में पाकिस्तान 52.6 अंक के साथ सबसे ऊपर है, भारत 50.2 अंक से बेहतर स्कोर किया.
