Devendra Fadnavis slams MVA for ‘Bandh’ call against Lakhimpur Kheri incident

Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Devendra Fadnavis on October 11 demanded High Court’s cognizance over Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Government’s call for ‘Bandh’ against the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.
“Earlier Supreme Court and Bombay High Court had banned such bandhs and fined Shiv Sena. We demand that High Court takes cognizance of it. First time in the history of independent India, those who have the responsibility of running law and order decided in the Cabinet meeting for bandh,” said Devendra Fadnavis.
