Former Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) leaders Devender Rana and Surjit Singh Slathia joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi on October 11. They joined the party in presence of Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State (Ind. Charge) Science and Tech Dr Jitendra Singh. Both the leaders resigned from the membership of National Conference on October 10.
