Introduction
Karnataka Style Chicken Saaru Recipe is a South Indian style curry made not very spicy and rich chicken gravy that you can serve along with Ragi Mudde or Coconut Milk Rice for lunch or dinner.

Koli Saru Ingredients -

For the Marination
25 Byadagi Chillies (chopped)
1½ tbsp Coriander Seeds
2 Tomatoes (chopped)
1 Kg Chicken

For the Spice paste
3 Onions (sliced)
10 Garlic Cloves
2-inches Ginger
1 tsp Ghee
1 Mace
Nutmeg
1-inch Cinnamon Stick
3 Green Cardamom
6 Cloves
1 tsp Poppy Seeds
2 cups Fresh Coconut (grated)

For the preparation of the Curry
3 tbsp Ghee
Marinated Chicken
Spice paste
1 litre Water
Salt (as per taste)
